My dad was a fellow england fan and in 2000 england were playig against turkey in the country turkey. So my dad flew over to turkey to watch the match played on 5th april 2000.In th middle of th match a turkish football fan (galastary) brutally stabbed my dad 27 times in the left lung! Galastary also stabbed another man christopher loftus who had no relation to my dad what so ever. I was only 2 at the time it happened , i didn't really know my dad but i still love him millions . i still have a hole in m heart that can never be filled ! i love you dad . RIP x

I'm a Leeds fan too, I will never forget that day either. I laid some flowers for your Dad and Chris at the foot of Billy Bremners statue. I didnt know either of them, but I felt as though I did. your Dad will always watch over you and your Mum and brother.

The flowers in God's garden
are wonderful and rare
but there is one so beautiful,
it's quite beyond compare.
God gave to us this flower,
a gift from up above.

so we tended it with love.
It budded here on earth
